Multi Sectoral Assistance for Sustainable Stay and Return of Serb and RAE Community in Istog/k Municipality

Duration:    January 2012 – July 2012

Main objective of the project is to assist return of up to 8 RAE families with housing component as well as  sustainable stay of about 49 Serb families in the mixed village Kosh populated with both Serbs and Albanians with provision of water network in Istog/Istok municipality.
Project is funded by British Government, Ministry of Coomunities and Returns and Istog/Istok municipality. In the last several years Kosovo government, and in particular Ministry for Communities and Returns (MCR) is a leading body in promoting and dealing directly with the return and reintegration activities.
By building of up to 8 houses for returnee families and by reconstruction of water network for the mixed village Kosh, the project will contribute to the Kosovo government efforts in promoting a tolerant multi ethnic environment in municipality of Istog/k.
