Background:

Project “Rehabilitation of the Health Clinic in village Letnicë/Letnica” aims to assist in the process of minority integration by enabling the Government of Kosovo to provide essential services to all of its citizens. Rehabilitated health clinic in village Letnicë/Letnica will provide health services to all citizens of the village, regardless of ethnicity. Village Letnicë/letnica is located in the south of Kosova. It is a multiethnic village with about 220 Albanian residents and about 50 Croatian residents. In addition in this village are hosted about 250 Macedonian refugees. In the past, Catholic Church in the village has provided health services voluntarily not only for inhabitants of village Letnicë/Letnica but also for neighboring villages. With this project, not only Letnicë/Letnica village but also neighboring villages will be provided with health services.
Rehabilitated health clinic provides a space of about 150 m2 available for health services. Health clinic will be administrated by the municipality of Viti/Vitina who will be responsible for maintenance as well as for provision of necessary staff and equipments, including furniture and inventory.
